Experience the benefits of an Australian student visa

  • • Enrol in an eligible course of study in Australia
  • • Travel in and out of Australia as needed
  • • As a temporary measure, you can work unlimited hours in any sector, as described in Temporary Changes to visa work conditions for Students and Working Holiday Makers

Including Family Members:

You can include your partner or dependent child (unmarried and under 18) in your visa application. Children who turn 18 by the time your visa is finalized need to apply for their visa. Even if your family members don't plan to travel with you to Australia, you must declare them in your student visa application, for them to be eligible to join you later. Your family members must meet health and character requirements when applying for the visa.

Packaged Courses

For a visa application involving multiple courses, provide Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) for each course. The last course in the package becomes your main course of study, which determines the evidence required for financial and English language skills. Course gaps should generally be less than two calendar months unless aligning with the end and beginning of standard academic years.

Your Obligations

Both you and your family must adhere to all visa conditions and Australian laws.
